Pro Tier Overview

The Vendia MCP Gateway Pro Tier is designed for teams. The Pro Tier provides everthing in the Free Tier with increased limits along with the ability to tie access policies for remote systems to roles.

Features

  • MCP Gateway Access: Access to Vendia’s hosted MCP Gateway
  • Storage Connections: Connect and use Amazon S3 buckets through the MCP Gateway
    • Demo Vendia Connection: Pre-configured Storage Connection with sample data and ready-to-use prompts for immediate experimentation
    • File Operations: Discover, read and write files stored in connected S3 buckets
    • Multiple File Type Support: Access text files, images, and PDF documents
  • API Catalogs: Add and use OpenAPI/Swagger specifications to enable AI-driven API discovery and interaction
  • MCP Servers: Connect external MCP servers (both pre-configured services and custom servers) to extend AI capabilities
  • Activity Tracking: Track all AI agent activities with automatic receipt logging
  • Additional Authentication Mechanims: Configure Vendia MCP Gateway to be accessed via a service account for productionalization of Agentic Workflows.
  • Resource-level access controls: Restrict access to specific S3 files based on a per user basis. Directly bind a service accounts to a roles that defines how users access remote SaaS systems and MCP Servers

Pro Tier MCP Tools

Free Tier users have access to the following tools:

  • /list-storage-connections: List all configured storage connections and view their status

  • /list-storage-connection-contents: Browse folder structure and list files in connected Amazon S3 buckets with IDs, paths, and metadata

  • /read-storage-connection-file: Read content from text files, image files, and PDF documents in connected Amazon S3 buckets

  • /write-storage-connection-file: Upload/create new files in your connected Amazon S3 buckets

  • /delete-storage-connection-file: Delete files from your connected Amazon S3 buckets

  • /get-storage-connection-upload-url: Get pre-signed URL for large file uploads

  • /list-api-catalogs: List available API catalogs

  • /explore-api-catalog: Explore operations in an API catalog

  • /get-operation-details: Get detailed schema for an API operation

  • /invoke-api-operation: Invoke an API operation

  • /list-mcp-servers: List all connected MCP servers

  • /list-mcp-server-tools: List tools available on a specific MCP server

  • /call-mcp-server-tool: Call a tool on an MCP server

Resource-level access controls

The Pro Tier provides the ability to manage users and roles and map roles to access control policies which provides fine-grained access controls to remote systems on a per user basis.

Storage Connection Policies

The Pro Tier allows storage connection access policies to be set on a per user basis. Access policies provide fine-grained control over what AI agents can do with files in your S3 buckets through Storage Connections. These policies work in conjunction with IAM permissions to define exactly which files and folders AI agents can read, write, create, or delete.

API Catalog Policies

The Pro Tier allows API Catalog headers to be set on a per user basis. This allows different authentication mechanisms, tokens or service accounts to be set on a per user basis. For more information on Authentication and Headers for API Catalogs see the following.
