How to Create an Amazon S3 Bucket

This page explains how to create and configure an Amazon S3 bucket in your AWS account. Follow these steps before connecting your bucket to Vendia MCP Server or setting up IAM permissions.

Sign Up for an AWS Account

To sign up for a new AWS account, visit the AWS account registration page.

Create an S3 Bucket in AWS

  1. If you already have an AWS account, but do not have an S3 bucket, create one by navigating to Amazon S3 in your AWS console and clicking Create bucket.

  2. Select bucket type and enter bucket name.

  3. Configure Object Ownership, Public access, and Bucket versioning for your S3 bucket.

  4. Finally, configure Tags (optional), encryption, and advanced settings if any, and click Create bucket.

Once your bucket is created, you can proceed to configure IAM permissions and connect it to Vendia MCP Server.
